Stół ołtarza w Nowej Zakrystii / The Altar Table in the New Sacristy

Stół ołtarza w Nowej Zakrystii jest bardzo prosty, choć wiele w nim symboliki. Na flankach stołu zobaczyć możemy dwa marmurowe kandelabry, których ornamenty zawierają symbole pelikana i feniksa, a więc nawiązują do ofiary Chrystusa na krzyżu i Zmartwychwstania. Pelikan karmiący swoje młode własną krwią z kolei budzi skojarzenie z Madonną Medycejską karmiącą Dzieciątko po drugiej stronie kaplicy. Na stole ołtarza stoją kolejne cztery kandelabry, a w środku krzyż.

The altar table in the New Sacristy is very simple, although it has a lot of symbolism. On the flanks of the table we can see two marble candelabras, the ornaments of which contain the symbols of the pelican and the phoenix, and thus refer to the sacrifice of Christ on the cross and the Resurrection.  A pelican feeding its young with its own blood evokes an association with the Medici Madonna feeding the Child on the other side of the chapel. There are four more candelabras on the altar table and a cross in the center.
